Position Title: Production Operator – Shot-Blast/Painter
Reporting To: Production Supervisor
Location: Ballymoney
Hours of work: 39 Hours
Reporting to production line supervisors we require experienced personnel who are capable of working in a team based environment, manufacturing mobile screening equipment.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Load and unload production line
- Spray painting
- Shot Blasting
- Meet set targets whilst working on the production line
- Safe and controlled movement of production parts
- Understanding of Lean Principles & methodology.
- Ability to work within a team environment and able to use own initiative
- Complying with current and future Health & Safety laws, processes and procedures
- Following Standard Work procedures.
- Any other reasonable duty as instructed.
Experience and Qualifications:
Essential
- Previous experience of working in a fast moving manufacturing environment.
- Experience of Steel Shot-Blasting.
- Powder-coating experience.
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of H & S procedures & responsibilities.
Desirable
- Experience in use of 2-Pack paint.
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing.

- Self-motivation and initiative
- Ability to work well in a team
- Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects at one time
- Ability to work with minimal guidance
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly

- Excellent problem solving skills, judgment and decision making skill
- Strong attention to detail
