Job Title: Part time Accounts Assistant
Reporting to: Accounting and Supply Chain Manager
Overall purpose of the job: Purchase ledger activities including processing, printing, sending, recording and filing of documents in support of the business.

General office duties, archiving and telephone support with Music Shops

Providing holiday cover for other members of the finance/supply chain department

The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach to duties and work. In particular they adopt a team working style and will interface with other departments and participate in various activities across the business. This may involve undertaking duties in support of the other departments and sometimes be outside normal working hours.

Education / Qualifications
GCSE’s –Mathematics/English A-C
Accounting qualification or working towards one or QBE
Training / Technical Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good grasp of the English language
Word & numerical skills
Experience of Sage Line 50 or similar package
Advanced Excel skills with analytical capability
Extremely high level of attention to detail
Highly organised
Experience / Knowledge
A guitar player
Purchase ledger specialist
An interest in live music of any genre
Experience within a finance department
Personality / Characteristics
Passion for the music industry
Good interpersonal skills, able to build relationships with people at all levels and with customers in particular.
Un-flappable, good sense of humour.
Self-confident and assured phone manner.
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise assignments appropriately.

Salary: £11.00-£14.00 per hour
