Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Location: Havant
Salary: £23,000 per annum
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an HR Administrator. In this role you will play a crucial role in supporting the People & Culture Team and ensuring the smooth operation of the HR function. Our ideal candidate!
The ideal person will have strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail and communication skills. You dont have to have necessarily worked in HR before as we will support your learning but you will need to be a team player, be comfortable being the first point of contact for the People & Culture Team, able to problem solve and have a thirst to learn and progress.
What does the role involve?
A hands-on role that requires you to:
- Be first point of contact for all customers to the People & Culture Team
- Provide an effective HR administration service relating to the employment lifecycle
- Provide first line advice to managers and employees, providing a high level of customer service to all employees
- Take a proactive approach to all queries ensuring that they are followed up, closed or escalated as appropriate.
- Be responsible for all HR administration, issuing contracts, letters; maintaining an accurate HR system and electronic filing system
- Be responsible for staff induction and onboarding
- Support the delivery of engagement initiatives including the facilitation of employee forums
- Ensure accurate HR records on all employees
- Provide HR reports as required

Act as systems administrator for all HR systems
Experience:
- Experience in a HR Administrator role (desirable)
- Administrative experience (desirable)
- Understanding various HR software systems
- Computer literate with programmes such as word, excel, etc.
- Organisational skills and ability to prioritise
- Interpersonal with good communicative skills

BSc in HR or a relevant field
Qualifications:
- Level 3 CIPD qualified (desirable)
Skills and competencies:
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills with high attention to detail
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and excellent presentation skills
- Confidence using MS Office and HR systems
- Personable with strong relationship building capabilities across all levels of the business
- A team mind-set with strong collaborative skills and a positive outlook
- Curiosity to learn and develop knowledge in a fast-paced, evolving HR landscape
- Self-motivation to work independently, making things happen and work well under pressure
- Driven and determined
- Practical and logical; able to solve problems quickly

This role will be based at Havant Leisure Centre but will be expected to travel to other company site as the need requires.
