What will you do?
Lendlease Consulting focuses on the Client representative services of Project Management, Cost Management and Principal Design, the Consulting group at Lendlease has a proven track record of delivering a high-quality bespoke service at every stage of the project life cycle. We are looking for Assistant Project Managers to lead/support small to medium sized projects and help oversee client quality, cost and time goals, leading and managing the wider consultant team and reporting. He
- Prepare the project execution plan.
- Direct a fully informed and motivated team.
- Manage client relationship on the current project
- Produce project programmes and monitor the project in line with those programmes.
- Ensure progress of the project by creating forums for the project team and external stakeholders.
- Attend and chair selected project meetings.
- Monitor project costs in line with the approved budget.
- Manage key project issues to the satisfaction of the client.
- Manage all consultants and contractors associated with the project.
- Develop and maintain risk register.
- Administer the works contract.
- Contribute to the preparation of bids, expressions of interest and capability statements.
You will bring
- Strong Interpersonal skills including ability to manage client relationships.
- Experience working as an Assistant Project Manager.
- Experience of dealing with customers, clients and contractors.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of the property and construction industry (Desirable).
- Ideally a degree or equivalent work experience and working towards a professional membership (ICE, CIOB, MAPM, RICS).
