As a responsible bank, we’re committed to managing our risks, as climate risk emerges as a top priority, we’re looking for a Climate Risk Implementation Manager to develop existing banking risk management, forecasting future credit losses over a range of different scenarios and time horizons.
You’ll be part of a specialist team responsible for the maintenance and execution of the full suite of credit impairment models as well as DoD engines in the determination of credit loss budgets playing a key role bringing modelling expertise and experience to help build out the development of our climate risk proposition.

Overseeing Climate Change model implementation to produce model output
Supporting change process and implementation of new models
Developing the analytics dashboard, monitoring and MI reports
Ensuring appropriate data and risk policies and controls are in place and working as required to deliver sustainable business profitability and growth targets
Seeking to either reduce or remove risk when weaknesses in either the methodology or the processes are identified.
What you’ll bring.
Experience building and running models in SAS or similar statistical software/programming languages.
Excellent communication skills and an in-depth knowledge of credit risk management techniques, climate risk, IFRS9, stress testing & provisioning methodologies
It would also be nice for you to have.
Credit strategy experience through all stages of credit risk and product lifecycle.
Ability to develop and explain to senior management complex credit risks and how such risk can be mitigated.
Knowledge of current local market dynamics, key players and their strategies, and current market pressures that will have a bearing on their own area of responsibility.
Strong understanding of risk management regulation and guidelines on and loss reserve methodologies and relevant accounting standards
