Job description
We are currently seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating our paper cup machines which are used in our manufacturing process to produce high quality consistent paper cups.
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm
Full time employment.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- To observe company environmental, health and safety regulations at all times.
- To set, run and clean the cup making machine and cup wrapping machine , oiling, cleaning glue heads and all other moving parts.
- To ensure the above machines are hands on monitored at all times
- To accurately record all production data in the required format at the required intervals
- To aid in carrying out operator maintenance of these machines according to operations directors instructions
- To follow manufacturers procedures regarding tooling preparation, care and reporting
- To verify correct production information against clients orders
- To inform Operat Director of any actual or potential problems and agree a plan to solve them
- To isolate any non-conforming product
- To work hand in hand with the operations director to order all necessary products to aid the machines functions
- To remove all waste to the correct bins and maintain a clean and tidy work place
- Experience operating machines in a manufacturing or industrial setting would be helpful
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting
- Excellent attention to detail and full commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing business needs.
- Experience not necessarily but would be helpful with any automated equipment.
