Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to become a member of the site team covering multiple specialist disciplines. This role will predominantly deliver on the maintenance of the school grounds, in line with the Grounds Management Plan.
You will join as a Site Technician (Grounds) reporting to the Head Groundman. Main duties will be based around the upkeep of the school grounds. Occasionally, you may be required to add support to the other branches of the site team. Full training and support will be given, as required.
The grounds’ work is divided into 3 areas of grounds’ management. These are:
· Woodlands - the site has 18 acres of woodland. This is covered by a conservation order. It is carefully and sympathetically managed to support the local ecology.
· Sports ground - the site has 9 acres of sports grounds, these are maintained to support multiple activities such as cricket, athletics, hockey, tennis, lacrosse and netball.
· Manicured gardens- the site has a number of developed garden areas, providing wellbeing space and learning areas, all enhancing the beauty of the site.
The role requires an individual with good knowledge or experience in at least one of the following types of grounds work: Gardens, Sports grounds, or woodlands.

POST DETAILS: Permanent, all year round Mon – Fri 40 hours per week, Rota (week 1 = 7 am to 4 pm) (week 2 = 11 am to 8 pm)
