Job description

The role:

You will be making and packaging both protein powder, and BCAA. The role is very varied and you will be required to wear full PPE, depending on the role that you are allocated on the day, you will be required to wear a hood on occassions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. To ensure that the working plans, provided by the supervisor/manage, are followed.

2. To ensure that the components for the current working order (powder mixes/pills, lids, tubes/pouches/pill pots, labels, outer boxes/trays/cdu) are checked.

3. To ensure the removal of all finished labelled items from the lines and replace them with new ones for the next working order.

4. To ensure the correct documents are completed in full for the shift.

5. To have sufficient knowledge of how to use the printer correctly.

6. To ensure the batch codes and expiry dates are checked.

7. To ensure change overs are carried out quickly and correctly following the company guidelines.

8. To ensure all spillages are cleaned following the health and safety guidelines.

9. To show a continuous development of individual working skills throughout.

10. To ensure the working station and the surrounding facility area (surfaces, behind and around protein lab) is cleaned properly at the end of and during the shift after each blend.

11. To observe machine operations to ensure the quality of filled products is up to sufficient standards.

12. To ensure the regulation of machine flow speed, labels level or anything that needs adjustment is carried out.

13. To stop /reset the machines when it is needed, clear machine jams and defective products as well as clean and remove damaged materials.

14. To monitor the production line, watching for problems such as jams or spillages and try to prevent them.

15. To have a strong understanding of the machines they work with.

16. To ensure the right outer labels have been used when packing the products.

17. To ensure they are building and wrapping the pallets with final goods correctly.

18. To have the ability to analyze situations and find solutions efficiently and effectively.

19. To ensure that all safety regulations are followed.

20. To work with others in order to ensure that equipment is in proper working order.

21. To perform any related duties assigned by the supervisor.

22. To ensure all company policies and procedures are maintained.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

1. Attention to detail.

2. Ability to work and communicate well with others.

3. Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

4. Prior experience working in a warehouse.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent

2. Ability to lift barrels/pallet/boxes.

3. Manage to work under pressure.

4. To be fast and flexible during the daily tasks.

5. Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the targets set by Vape Nation

6. Must be flexible and willing to work in different working environments (You will often work in a clean tent where you would be required to wear additional PPE such as a hood and suit).
