Job description
This is a temporary position but could lead to a permanent position for the right candidate, immediate start available
As Production planner you will be responsible for entering the master schedule build plans into MAPS, an internal system which is used to interrogates movement of stock and correct data. You will ensure on time delivery of all component orders and organise and issue Assembly documents.
Key Responsibilities
· Issue reports to relevant departments
· Calculate and issue the report of the daily scanning figures
· Issue completion and parts issue slips, manufacturing instructions and bill of material differences and file for use by the Assembly and serial number printing departments
· Remove and control completion and parts issue slips, manufacturing instructions and bill of material differences which have been cancelled or delated in the plan
· Communicate held orders and understand and be aware of the reason they have been placed on hold
· Support input proof report checking
Key Experiences and Skills Required:
Computer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft excel
Educated to GCSE at grade C or above in English and Maths (or equivalent qualifications)
The successful candidate will be methodical numerate and an effective communicator. Have the ability t work with minimal supervision and as part of a team or alone
