DCB Legal Ltd is a legal practice specialising in debt recovery and civil & commercial litigation. As one of the largest issuers of County Court Claims in the UK, also as a result of our continuing success, DCB Legal are looking to appoint an Operations Manager to support the next phase of the business’s growth.
Located at our newly refurbished Cheshire headquarters in Runcorn, the Operations Manager will be a key member of the operational management team and will ensure we continue to deliver an excellent service to our clients and support to our legal teams.
Role responsibilities:
- Working alongside the group directors, be responsible for creating, implementing and managing new strategies within the Law firm
- Maximising the volume of litigation the firm can process
- To plan, schedule and monitor litigation cases, including forecasting to ensure workloads are proactively managed
- Responsibility for staffing structure, recruitment, retention and performance management
- Developing operational policies and monitor compliance
- Reviewing company policy and procedures to ensure they are relevant and up to date all times
- Identify areas for improvement, scope out development opportunities and liaise with our Development team to bring about efficiencies
- Overall Management of ongoing projects to improve the capabilities and services provided to our client’s
- Supporting the Senior Management Team and Client Management team’s at meetings
Essential qualifications/Skills:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in operational management
- Previously worked at a senior operational level
- Demonstrate strong business and people acumen
- Provide advice and serve as a trusted advisor to the business owners & other Directors
- Used a case management system and have a base level understanding as to how these types of systems can be developed to drive efficiencies
- Managed projects and can demonstrate process improvements
- Being able to communicate at all levels and present information at meetings
Desirable qualifications/skills/experience:
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise task
- Effective and clear communication skills both verbally and in writing
- Worked at a Law Firm or within an in-house legal department
- Experience of managing a team
- Project management experience (desirable)
