Vehicle Engineering
The Auto Electrician role is based within our Vehicle Engineering business area.
Vehicle Engineering is a market-leading manufacturer and converter of armoured vehicles and products. Drawing on over 100 years’ experience, we supply and support deployed vehicles worldwide to customers including the police, fire and ambulance services, civil service, and military. Together, we deliver an end-to-end through-life methodology to supply our clients with specialist vehicle conversions.
The role
The difference our new Auto Electrician will make
As an Auto Electrician, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will fit, repair, install and integrate enhanced electrical and electronic systems in motor vehicles. You will also design and develop electrical solutions for vehicles, fault finding and rectification.
Day to day, you will design and develop electrical solutions for vehicles through reading electrical plans and diagrams. You will also deal with the removal and fitting of seats, panels, roof lining, door cards, interior trim, carpets, switch gear light clusters, bumpers.

- NVQ level 2 in a relevant qualification (or proven automotive electrical experience)
