Safe Place for Youth is looking for a full-time, in-house Help Desk Analyst to join our team in Santa Monica, CA. This position will be responsible for providing support to our customers by assisting with resolving technical issues and resolving technical problems.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to customers via phone, email, and chat
- Provide support to customers via ticketing system
- Provide technical support to customers via ticketing system
- Assist with development of new features and applications
- Perform research on new products and technologies
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure customer needs are met
- Assist with training of new employees
- Other duties as assigned by management
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in a customer service position, preferably Help desk or technical support experience.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and web-based applications (Gmail, Google Docs, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Linux is a plus. Experience with Red Hat Linux Enterprise is a plus. Red Hat Linux Enterprise is the most popular Linux distribution. We will train the right person on Red Hat Linux Enterprise. Red Hat Linux Enterprise is an excellent platform for learning about Linux. It’s easy to learn and it’s easy to use!

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
