Job description
Our client is an innovative housing provider that is going through a period of growth and development in North West England. They are looking for a proactive and experienced Regional Operations Manager to join their expanding team. This highly reputable organisation works in partnership with Local Authorities to deliver ready-to-let social housing. They are centred around developing and producing housing solutions for homeless households across Greater Manchester. More recently focusing on procuring and managing properties to house rough sleepers,
Organisation: For-profit housing provider
Location: North West England, office based at M25 1PS
Type: Permanent
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am - 5.30pm
Benefits: 32 days paid annual leave (inclusive of Bank & Public Holidays)
About the role:
- Leading on development and growth opportunities in the North West
- Managing a team to deliver the housing services
- Good understanding of day to day operational management and performance monitoring
- Taking responsibility for the management of properties on behalf of the local authority
- Regular liaison with landlords and attendance of meetings with their local authority partners
- Management of tenants and private sector leasing schemes
- Management around the procurement of new properties
Requirements for the role:
- Dynamic and be able to work under pressure
- Experience of managing a team
- Key experience in homelessness
- Understands issues surrounding rent management
- Experience of property acquisition and leasing
- Good understanding of property management
