Warehouse Operative London, England
Job description
We have contracts with various warehouses and factories in London and the Greater London areas such as Essex and Kent. Job roles include production line staff, warehouse pickers, box labelling and working with industrial machinery.
There is also scope to drive a company vehicle and receive extra income per day should you have a driving license.
Responsibilities:
- Perform shipping and receiving duties, including loading and unloading trucks and inspecting packages
- Utilize equipment such as cherry pickers, order pickers, and pallet jacks to move and organize stock
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
- Experience operating warehouse equipment such as cherry pickers, order pickers, and pallet jacks is preferred
- Familiarity with inventory management software is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills to effectively manage stock and fulfil orders
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Salary: £10.42-£12.00 per hour
