Nursery Worker
Purpose of Post
Provide a high level of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care.
Support other staff at the nursery.
Implement daily routines in the nursery.
Key Areas
Car preferable.
Work with staff, as a member of a team.
Liaise with parents, keeping them well informed about their child.
Take advice from senior staff, liaise with deputy manager, manager and senior staff and participate in floor meetings.
Main Scope of Job
Operate a programme of activities suitable for the age of the children you are looking after,
Keep developmental records on your key children.
Liase and support parents.
Be flexible within the working practices of the nursery.
Keep records up to date.
Respect confidentiality.
Be aware of the nurseries policies.
Develop your role as a keyworker.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 34 per week
Salary: £8.50-£10.75 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Swansea, SA2 0AP: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Nursery: 1 year (preferred)
- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
- Management: 1 year (preferred)
