• You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master's degree program in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Actuarial Science, Financial Engineering, Mathematics or a similar discipline with an expected graduation year of 2023 to 2025.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g. macros, pivot tables, complex formulas).
• You are fluent in written and spoken English.
• You are a team player and enjoy working in an international environment.
• You have the right to work in the country you are applying for and are available to work full-time for 4 to 6 months.

Amazon is seeking a motivated, data-driven and forward-thinking Finance Intern to support our various Finance teams and work on impactful projects that lead to meaningful results.
An Amazon Finance Internship will provide you with an unforgettable experience in a dynamic and international environment and will serve as a superb introduction to finance and data analysis within the operational business.
Our Finance Internships are varied, and you could have the opportunity to join one of the following teams: Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Finance & Controlling, Operations Finance, Transportation Finance or Infrastructure Finance etc.

The first stage, is a video interview and technical assessment that you will receive when you apply for the role. This assessment takes around 30 minutes to complete. After this, if successful you will move through to the final stage, which consists of 2 interviews with 2 different Finance managers.
Key job responsibilities
This internship is an educational opportunity where you will have the chance to complete an impactful project that will support your own learning in the Finance Analyst function, as well as the team’s success (and ultimately our customers). Depending on your team, any and all of the below tasks may apply:
- You will assist in collecting, analyzing, and reviewing quantitative data and creating meaningful reports to drive business improvement and cost reductions.
- You will be involved in reporting, forecasting and building KPI dashboards that will support an entire business unit in their decision-making process.
- You will meet with numerous business partners during weekly and monthly business reviews.
- You will gain invaluable first-hand experience in improving accuracy alongside automating tools and processes.
- You will assist with development, and implementation of policies and initiatives that guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and profitability.
- You will complete root cause analysis and uncover core issues using data.
- You can also expect to engage with Amazonians for both personal and professional development, expand your network, and participate in activities with other interns throughout your internship.

• Data visualization skills, such as proficiency in Tableau, QlikView, PowerPivot, or MicroStrategy • Oracle, VBA or MySQL/SQL knowledge • Analytical acumen and ability to deal with ambiguity and work with large databases • Experience in financial planning, financial reporting, root cause analysis and/or data mining • Effective communication and presentation skills when working with peers and various levels of management • Strong organizational and time management skills • Previous work experience – a summer job, internship; if it’s an experience in a related field or business, even better Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
