Kitchen Manager  -  Specialist Role  - UK

The role is to cover the South of England and London.

We are looking for a flexible Specialist Support Kitchen Manager that loves to travel and support various teams.

You will be assigned various support projects that could involve anything from stepping in to support kitchen team while a permanent manager is recruited, or cover holidays or a senior chef vacancy. Responsibility will vary from day to day kitchen management, hands on approach to support busy operations, to training, to implementing consistency in delivering food quality and presentation as per specifications, implementing food cost best practices and controls, H&S implementation…

What will I be doing?

As a Specialist support Kitchen Manager, travel will be a big part and you will get to experience various hotels and kitchens within portfolio, you will work with General Managers, kitchen managers or regional corporate chef to deliver successful assignments

Your role will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

    Support/ Manage and train the kitchen brigade effectively to ensure a well-organised and motivated team Ensure consistency in quality of dishes at all times Ensure compliance with food hygiene, Health and Safety, and stock procedures Ensure resources meet business needs through the effective management of working rotas Support brand standards through the training and assessment of your team Manage food cost controls to contribute to Food and Beverage revenue Knowledge of activities in other departments and implications
What are we looking for?

A Specialist support Kitchen Manager serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

    Strong Sous Chef or previous Head Chef Experience Strong supervisory skills Positive attitude Ability and flexibility to travel Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends, days, afternoons and evenings Good communication skills Committed to delivering a high level of customer service Excellent grooming standards Excellent planning and organising skills
