Job Description

• Department: IT Services
• Salary: £37,000 to £47,000 p.a. DOE
• Location: Home based (Preferably Leeds / Sheffield / Hull area)

About the Team

The IT Services team comprises of Network, Security, Infrastructure and Support colleagues working closely together to maintain a secure, reliable and well-maintained environment for both our staff and customers.

About the Role

Providing support to our networks and associated infrastructure with a focus on configuring, maintaining, and monitoring our network infrastructure. This role will report to the IT Network Manager and form part of the IT Network Team.

Role responsibilities:

• Proactive management of the networks that support our platforms.
• Connectivity, including to office locations, data centres and cloud hosting.
• Logical network management including IP addressing, subnets and DNS.
• Efficient running and change management of all network hardware.
• Network hardware configuration and management.
• Monitoring of our networks and infrastructure.
• Manage the resource requirements for any in hours or out of hours work that is required.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

• Designing and implementing business solutions.
• Experience of working in data centres.
• Proven experience in a network engineer role
• Able to work on projects solely or as a team.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience with Enterprise grade network hardware.
• Attained CCNA or higher.
