Job Purpose:
This is an exciting opportunity, for someone looking to start a career in Marketing, to join the award-winning Marketing team at Charles Stanley. The Marketing Assistant will support the Marketing team in a range of administrative, logistic and support tasks with a particular focus on events.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Provide support to the Marketing team in a range of day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Support the events team with the administrative tasks of running events and webinars including creating invites (printed and digital), managing attendee lists (extracting data via Tableau and cross referencing with other data points), being a host/point of contact at in-person events, processing CPD certificates, and helping to compile reports.
- Support the events team by taking responsibility for the inventory of merchandise, researching and placing merchandise orders, putting together goodie bags and badges and liaising with the logistics company to ensure all events have the appropriate logistic and merchandise support.
- Act as the marketing point of contact for low-maintenance branches, providing central support to assist in the delivery of their marketing plan.
- Work closely with our external printers and logistic suppliers to maintain version control of client-facing marketing materials, such as brochures and guides, to ensure that the correct versions are in printed stock.
- Manage the Events inboxes, logging RSVPs, triaging, and filing enquiries as appropriate.
- Support the team with financial promotions, following appropriate procedures to ensure all promotions are reviewed, logged, and signed off by Compliance (where required).
- Take responsibility for the publication of monthly factsheets. Logging and reviewing the output in line with the financial promotions policy and ensuring the Charles Stanley brand is correctly used in terms of design. Uploading to the website and cross referencing with the information on the product pages (updating using the CMS where required).
- Work closely with the Marketing Administrator to provide effective cover during periods of annual leave.
- Organise team socials and other engagement opportunities to promote informal networking.
- Take minutes at key stakeholder meetings, circulating the notes and following up on actions where applicable.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Educated to A-Level or equivalent level
Knowledge & Skills:
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel.
- Must have a keen eye for detail.
- Tech savvy as the successful candidate will be a user of martech such as Tablau, Zoom, Adestra etc.
- Must be willing to get stuck in and be hands on with a wide variety of different projects.
- The ability to be able to work on multiple concurrent projects and effectively time manage.
- The ability to liaise and work with individuals at all levels across the group.
- Willingness to learn and understand Charles Stanley’s wide range of products and services.
- There may be opportunities for the individual to take part in other marketing-related activity. The individual will be prepared to work with Marketing colleagues and assist, where reasonable, to achieve successful outcomes for the department and the business.
