FDL Cafe is a vibrant, community-oriented cafe dedicated to serving exceptional coffee, delicious treats, and creating memorable experiences for our customers. We are currently seeking a passionate, experienced barista to join our team and help us continue to provide the highest quality beverages and service.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to FDL Cafe's recipes and standards
• Operate and maintain coffee equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and brewers
• Deliver exceptional customer service, engaging with customers and providing a warm, welcoming atmosphere
• Educate customers on our coffee offerings, answering questions, and providing recommendations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
• Assist in inventory management and re-stocking supplies as needed
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and seamless operations
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to continually improve skills and knowledge

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of barista experience in a specialty coffee shop or similar environment
• Comprehensive knowledge of coffee brewing methods, espresso extraction, and latte art
• Exceptional customer service skills and a genuine passion for creating memorable experiences for our guests
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to multitask and maintain a high level of efficiency in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work various shifts

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
