We are looking to increase market visibility and engagement with our target market of managers with responsibility for training.
Activity
Platform used: MailChimp
We have a large number of subscribers, but we're feeding them in slowly, so we don’t “burn” them while we're getting used to what needs to be done.
Here’s what we want, initially and going forward:
- Initial assessment of what we’ve done – we’ve set up a standard template and run a few small campaigns, but it's all open to new ideas.
- Send two broadcasts a month.
- Create the email content using the template (which, as we say, can be modified)
- Send all emails using our details, so they tie in with LinkedIn profiles - and we can respond to any replies.
- Analyse/assess the performance.
- Make recommendations based on what you think will improve performance.
Objectives
Everything has to be measured (well, it is here…) so these are the metrics we’d seek to improve, in order of priority (though suggestions from you are welcome):
- Open rates
- Click through rates
- Direct replies to the emails
- Sales (longer term: starting at zero but building over time)
