About the role
Maintenance Technical Assistants are entry-level personnel with the potential to progress within the Engineering function of the CFC. There are no formal engineering qualifications required for this role and requires the successful candidate to perform a heavy level of cleaning. Working with a Technician they will be cleaning thoroughly the area that is due a service. Site checks such as fire doors, lighting and Emergency exits all need periodic inspection Despatch trolley wheels and minor repairs to be carried out
About you
You have some working knowledge of the automated warehouse and its components. You have basic computer literacy and will be able to complete maintenance logs on a computerised system. You need to be flexible with your working patterns and be able to work safely at all times, reporting any issues to your Line manager. You are able to do heavy cleaning tasks, from mopping floors to Cleaning the automated equipment and maintaining hygiene standards and you are able to keep up with the physical side which requires lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy objects.This role will require long periods of time on your feet.
