As a General Assistant at Sodexo in Sullom Voe Terminal, you will also perform Catering Assistant duties. You will play a vital role supporting our catering units assisting with preparation and serving meals whilst ensuring a hygienic environment within the kitchen environment. You will be creating safe and welcome atmosphere for colleagues and clients. Join Sodexo and be part of something greater. What you’ll do:

• Assist with preparing and serving meals
• Serve customers with hot & cold food during service times
• Assisting with refilling beverages and ensuring menu accompaniments are available prior to service.
• Clearing tables and dishes, assisting with maintaining clean environment in kitchen
• Assist with deliveries, stock rotation and replenishment.

What you bring:

• Exceptional customer service skills: a willingness to go above and beyond.
• Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time (up to 8-12 hours)
• Willing to learn new skills e.g., Health & Safety, Health & Hygiene, Food Safety
• Basic food-handling skills are desirable, but not essential, as long as you are willing to learn.
• No previous work experience required.

Accommodation on Shetland Islands while working and Transportation from Aberdeen is included.

• 73.5 hours per week
• Working: 3 weeks on and 3 weeks off
• £11.92 per hour
