Job description
Due to continued growth, Henry Winning & Co, are recruiting for motivated and enthusiastic Machine Operators to join our friendly and professional team. Based at our production site in Parkhead, this position is available immediately.
Job Summary:
- To run the production of an allocated number of machines to fulfil customer orders
- To physically load machines with the correct raw materials, monitoring the output and replacing raw materials as required
- To pack the completed product in the correct boxes
- To carry out manual handling processes (including lifting, lowering and carrying) of raw materials and finished products throughout the shift
- To accurately complete all production and quality record logs
- To actively undertake a ‘clean as you work’ policy

Permanent Positions: Permanent contract with planned training programme
Competitive Rate of Pay:
Starting at £10.42 per hour
Increasing to £10.92 per hour on successful completion of training (expected 12 weeks).
Work-Life Balance: Our standard hours are 42.5 hours per week with an early finish on a Friday. 30 days annual leave per year including bank holidays and Christmas Shutdown.
Development Opportunities: Our Machine Operators have the opportunity to learn a wide range of skills and there is also the possibility of further development opportunities. Our Team Leaders and Factory Management team joined Henry Winning & Co as Machine Operators.
Team TruNet: At Henry Winning, you get to work as part of a fantastic team with everybody working together to get the job done. Full training and support will be provided from your department Team Leader and Manager.
The Role:
· Day Shift: Monday-Thursday (7.15am – 4.45pm) & Friday (7.15am – 2.15pm)
· 42.5 hours per week
· Permanent contract
Key Requirements:
· Experienced a as Machine Operator (desirable)
· Experience within a Factory or Warehouse environment (desirable)
