The role: Trainee Insurance Broker
We recruit for potential and not industry experience, we are seeking individuals who aspire to be leading contributors to our business and who can embrace the opportunity to complete our fully funded training programme and attain chartered insurance qualifications

As a Trainee Insurance Broker in one of our energetic sales teams, and once you have received initial training and support, you will be responsible for selling to a portfolio of clients, this can involve receiving in-bound sales queries, producing new quotes, upselling/cross selling additional products whilst handling any additional queries that are presented

We will rely on you to:
Deliver new business sales against targets and KPI’s, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards
Ensure timely completion of all set tasks ensuring client satisfaction at all times
Demonstrate your adaptability skills when required in order to support colleagues in completing business critical tasks
Develop meaningful working relationships with our insurer partners through regular contact and liaison to better serve our clients
Through training, coaching and mentoring have a thorough understanding of all major classes of insurance that we offer our clients and keep abreast of new technical and product developments
What you need to have:
Previous experience within a client/customer facing role, this can be gained from within a similar role or working in environments such as (but not limited to) retail, hospitality, food & beverage etc
Aptitude and enthusiasm in order to execute new business sales targets
Experience in upselling and cross selling within a customer facing environment
Strong literacy, numeracy, administration and communication skills that can be demonstrated via qualifications/grades gained during education
Ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to work flexibly when required
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously
Have experience utilising the Microsoft Office suite and similar products
