A&S Packing are recruiting for General Operatives to work as part of a motivated team supporting our packing lines by undertaking various tasks on a daily basis.
We are looking for motivated individuals who can demonstrate working efficiently as part of a team, whilst using their initiatives when undertaking their required tasks.
Our fast paced and diverse operations will see the right candidate undertake varying tasks each day from packing goods into boxes to operating our shrink sleeving lines or create gift packs or fulfil products into pallet shippers.
We are looking for a fast learning individual with the attitude to learn, adapt and succeed in their role.
General Responsibilities include for the role are;
- Working effectively in a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Execute the role within the packing operation efficiently.
- Provide a quality of service for our customers products.
- Maintain A&S’s high-quality standards.
- Support other business functions where required.
- Demonstrate flexibility with their work to help support the day-to-day tasks.
- Ensure a clean & safe work environment.
In return A&S will provide regular training to help support you in your role and provide opportunities to progression through the business.
The candidate may be required to work on shift rota basis which works on 5 day rotation also commuting between depots.
Shift times currently 8:00-16:30 but may change
The vacancy is for a full time employment on a 40hr per week contract, based on a successful initial probation period which is 13wks. Overtime is available to A&S members when the business is operating at it’s peak or when required by our customers.
