We are searching for talented and motivated professionals specializing in Lighting Design to join our client's team at their Buckinghamshire-based studio. As a valued member of the team, you will actively participate in all aspects of the design process, starting from the initial concept and extending to the implementation phase on site. Your role will be crucial in shaping the creative journey and executing projects, involving direct collaboration with clients and project design teams.

The ideal candidate should possess a proven background in design and project management, combined with a strong understanding of the typical life cycle of building projects. We anticipate a strong commitment and drive from our team members to deliver exceptional service to our clients, which encompasses client presentations and on-site contractor engagements. Demonstrating extensive knowledge of diverse architectural lighting products is vital, accompanied by a sincere dedication to continual learning and professional growth.

Requirements

  • Well-versed in AutoCAD 2D, showcasing a high level of proficiency.
  • Exhibit exceptional organizational abilities and effective time management skills on both personal and professional levels.
  • Possession of a valid UK driving license is preferred to accommodate occasional travel requirements on a national basis.

Desirable Skills

  • Familiarity with Dialux or Relax software, displaying proficiency in their usage.
  • Evident talent in producing polished documents and visually appealing presentations.
  • Acquaintance with lighting control systems such as Lutron, Rako, Mode, etc.
  • Competency in basic electrical regulations and the assembly of light fixtures.
  • Possession of a technical and practical mindset, along with knowledge of current LED and driver technology.
