More about the role:
An exciting opportunity for a Junior Motion Graphics Designer to join Team Eleven’s creative team. You will have one to three years of experience within an agency or studio. There is very little you don’t know about Adobe’s Creative Cloud, especially After Effects and design software such as Illustrator/Photoshop. The role involves you working with the Client Services, Strategy, Social and Creative team to deliver work for local and global clients. 80% of the work will be focused on pharmaceutical brands with 20% on other brands such as confectionary, cars and cosmetics.
Responsibilities:
Advertising is a tough business, and it is critical that we maintain high standards on all the work we produce for our clients. As the Junior Motion Graphics Designer you will report into our Creative Lead and support the Motion Graphics Designer to develop motion graphics content including illustrations, schematics, videos, animation and infographics. You will also be required to:
- Interpret a clients brief and assist with creating and conceptualising content based on the clients needs.
- Design storyboards and animation sketches. Along with editing video and using your knowledge of video specs to make client briefs come to life. Support the design team when necessary, with graphic design and light art working.
- Ensure all working files are well organised, sharable, and backed up.
- Continuously enhance technical knowledge in motion graphics software packages.
About you:
- 1-3 years’ agency experience in the motion graphics/design industry.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe CC especially After Effects and design software (Illustrator/Photoshop). Colour grading, compositing, XD and 3D software would be desirable but not specifically required.
- Mac literate (essential).
- Experience and knowledge of design principles and best practices.
- Understanding of creating well-crafted social content experiences.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight timelines.
- Portfolio showcasing strong animation/film work and keyframing ability.
- Collaborative team player that is happy to share ideas, take constructive feedback from teammates, and support with additional work when required.
- Be calm under pressure.
- Have strong oral and written communication skills.
- A resourceful creative thinker.
- Ability to deliver against tight and complex timelines.
