WHO YOU ARE:
An energetic, goal-oriented professional with a passion for sales. An experienced entry level sales rep that is comfortable making outbound calls to executives and providing a sales pitch that ultimately results in appointment setting. You are comfortable working with a set quota and driven to meet or exceed those results. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Through outbound calling, the Business Development Rep (BDR) will prospect within targeted business accounts to increase the productivity of field sales personnel by setting up qualified meetings/FTAs. This role will support a specific sales team/territory in a collaborative manner to result in better market penetration and to generate qualified leads, via contact with senior level decision makers within the account base. The Business Development Rep will be responsible for managing a monthly quota of meetings in a hi-tech, competitive environment and for communicating the unique value proposition to qualified prospects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and qualify prospects through proactive outbound calls, opening a line of communication with key contacts and creating interest in products.
- Design campaigns with assigned account executives to develop strategies to uncover leads/opportunities in assigned territory.
- Document all communications with prospects taking detailed and accurate notes regarding conversations with prospects that are critical to aid the sales cycle.
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Prior experience with a contact management system, preferably HubSpot.
- Min. two (2) years of experience calling into C-level or VP level contacts and qualifying opportunities over the phone.
- Experience using Zoominfo, LinkedIn, Seamless.ai and ChatGPT for research.
