We at ABP York are looking for new members to join our Abattoir team.
You will be given the opportunity to upskill and learn multiple roles within the abattoir.
- Shackling
- Sticking & bleeding
- Rodding
- Head removal, tongue removal
- Legging
- Flanking
- Hide removal
- Evisceration & removal of red offal
- Saw / splitting of carcase
- Removal of all S.R.M.
- Trimming (four stages) to management specification
- Adhere to Company Hygiene practices & safe food production.
- To comply with Health & Safety rules, to prevent / minimise the risk of accidents
- To be a valued member of the slaughter team and have consideration for all colleagues in the plant.
- To participate in training, in accordance with your personal training plan
- Attend appropriate team meetings as required by the manager
- Other duties as assigned.
