Assistant Tax Advisor, Transfer Pricing – Glasgow

Our team specialises in unusual areas of UK and International tax law which require us to understand how our multinational business clients function from a commercial, operational, legal and financial perspective. We combine this understanding with our industry insights and expertise in the relevant tax law to help them design, implement, report and support the prices they apply to the multitude of transactions that occur within their “corporate family”. Our insights and recommendations also help our clients consider how to design aspects of their business operating models and ways of working.
Our Intensive learning Programme to support you in the role:
We invite you to apply for our transfer pricing intensive learning programme. Our programme consists of an initial training period of six weeks followed by work on client projects and business development. We consider our training to be unique and best in class. It has been designed with regard to:
- the latest neuroscience on how the learning process works; and
- our practical experience of what basic knowledge and skills are required to enable you to “hit the ground running” when you start working with your more experienced colleagues.
- Our training programme will commence 15th January 2024.
Your key responsibilities are to:
- Assist in growing our project portfolio for existing clients by proactively managing and developing the relationship
- Contribute to developing new offerings and winning projects for new clients
- Contribute to the successful delivery of projects, ensuring technical excellence and practical/business driven approach
- Contribute to the appropriate management of risk for the firm and our clients
- Improve our ways of working e.g. our delivery processes, our client offerings etc…
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- A degree / postgraduate degree or relevant work experience in the commercial, operational, financial or legal side of business
You might also have:
- Studied international tax (or even transfer pricing) at university
- Existing experience as an accountant, lawyer or a tax adviser and are looking for a change in career
- A background in engineering / technology and are looking for a different career opportunity
