Key Responsibilities:
Experience and knowledge of working within a SME and reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the role requires:
· Involvement in all aspects of the HR function including the areas of :
o recruitment
o on- boarding
o off- boarding
o contractual documentation - starters, leavers, movers and benefits
o administration of the HR database (Sage HR) and training providers eLearning portal being a reliable point of contact for all HR enquiries.
· Opportunity to be involved with HR initiatives and project work
- Processing the day-to-day general queries to deadline and with exceptional attention to detail
- Managing the team's group mailbox daily, as well as taking action on all HR queries from the business
- Escalating to Head of Human Resources when needed
- Provide appropriate reports from the HR database for the purpose of auditing and monitoring employee data and training
- Assisting other group companies with HR tasks and providing reports and data, when required
- Have outstanding organisational, and communication skills and will demonstrate the ability to deal with confidential matters with tact and sensitivity
- The ability to work effectively both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a wider team.
- Any other reasonable duties as directed by the Head of HR.
Skills/experience:
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, both written business and verbally, with confidence to communicate with all employees across the business
- Understanding the need for strict confidentiality
- A great team work ethic
- Proven track record of working in a similar HR function
- Knowledge of HR processes and regulations
- A strong all round HR Officer experience
- A personable and empathetic approach - this role partners our people, and we should put them at the forefront when working through people-related matters
- Possess strong IT skills, especially in Excel
- Desire to understand and utilise social media in HR
