What does a HR Business Partner (Place) do at Hillingdon?
The HR Business Partner works closely with the ‘Place’ Directorate and it’s services, supported by a HR Advisor, and the wider HR team to address, devise, and deliver effective solutions to tackle everyday challenges head on.
Seeking opportunities to improve the way we deliver our services, the HR Business Partner is instrumental in organising our workforce, supporting ongoing development, and creating an inclusive and compassionate environment to balance the current needs of the organisation with that of the future.
Ultimately the role will guide the Directorate to deliver a range of key HR initiatives which include, workforce planning, restructuring, talent management, employee relations and performance management.
About you
Evidencing your expertise across employment policies, HR regulations, and best practices, you’ll have the ability to exercise your professional judgement to advise across a range of sensitive and at times contentious HR matters, ensuring outcomes meet the Council’s equity standards.
Working in partnership with a wide range of stakeholders at various levels, you’ll have excellent communication skills, and be capable of engaging, informing, and influencing senior leaders to guide decision making, whilst applying a best practice approach.
