Job description
Come and join a small, friendly but professional team in a privately owned hotel in the beautiful western lake district in a lovely part of the English countryside.
We require a hard-working housekeeper with high energy levels and immaculate standards for our 15 bed hotel rooms & 7 self-catering houses in Irton Eskdale.
Live In accommodation on site available if required.
At least 6 months experience cleaning in an hotel is very important as is an eye for detail, a passion for cleaning and caring about maintaining high standards.
The housekeeping role is 30-40 hours (5 days, also part time hours too if required) per week - including some weekends and you will work mainly in a team and occasionally on your own. Part time options also available.
You will report to the head housekeeper for daily job lists. Excellent potential for progression throughout a fast growing company. Work within a great housekeeping team & family owners.
Staff accommodation available if required.
Responsibilities include:
- cleaning bedrooms,
- holiday lets and public areas (restaurant, WCs and bar) to a very high standard
Basic English is essential in terms of understanding, speaking and reading.
