We have a fabulous opportunity for a Senior UX Designer to join our team at Sumo Leamington! If you're someone who has the ability to self-direct, has mobile game development experience and loves autonomy, this could be the role for you!
Please note: This role can be considered on a remote UK basis.
In your new role you will:
- Collaborate with our Product Managers, Producers, Designers, and Developers to understand and execute all UX related deliverables.
- Conceptualise and develop the flow, wireframes, and prototypes for a wide variety of features.
- Create and maintain documentation to ensure the team remains informed about our UI/UX strategy.
- Understand the requirements of the product vision and adjust plans accordingly when required.
- Guide our approach on User research, conducting surveys and presenting relevant data to various audiences.
- Always be thinking about how we can be better, looking for missed opportunities and suggesting creative solutions.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback and work closely with UI artists to develop the Visual Language.
- Prepare presentations and design workshops for a wide variety of audiences, both technical and non-technical.
To be successful you will have:
- Pragmatic approach to manage several parallel design tracks.
- Experience in user testing, player analysis and iteration.
- A creative and ambitious mind with confidence to explore new concepts.
- An understanding of accessibility features and their implementation.
- An interest in past and current game trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to self-direct and understand priorities whilst working under limited supervision.
- An ability to quickly develop ideas as sketches, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
- Previous mobile game development experience. (Experience in free-to-play a bonus).
- Experience working with Unity is a bonus
