Harvest Worker - Grape Picking Stowmarket, England
Job description
Burnt House Vineyard is a 22 acre vineyard growing grapes for both still and traditional method sparkling wine. We're looking for harvest workers to join our team for a temporary period for picking grapes.
Two days picking confirmed for 27th & 28th September.
We anticipate there to be approximately 12 days grape picking over a four week period. Days picking will be communicated the week before however can be on short notice via email or phone. While we anticipate 12 days, this is an estimate and there may be more/less days available.
No prior experience needed.
The role will include;
- Picking grapes.
- Monday to Friday between 8am – 4pm. Please note not all picking will be 5 days a week. We may pick for 2 days in week 1 and then 3 days in week 2. Finish time is flexible on occasion the day can be shorter or longer.
- 30 min am break, 30 min lunch break unpaid.

- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Flexible working pattern.
- Complete tasks within a time frame but to focus on quality.
- Quick learner.
- Right to work in the UK
- Over 18
Job Type: Temporary contract
Contract length: 4 weeks
Salary: £10.42 per hour
