Job description

The Data Analyst role sits within the Data Analytics team, with the responsibility of working across the entire business - understanding their data requirements, and collecting and analysing data to help the business make informed decisions.

This role will ideally suit a Data Analyst who has a couple of years experience working in a data analytics function. Candidates must be able to work in the UK as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship at this time.

Responsibilities

  • Interpreting data, analysing results and providing ongoing reports and visualisations for all areas of the business.
  • Supporting other areas of the business with relevant queries
  • Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets, both internal and external
  • Work with other departments to understand their data needs, and provide meaningful data to aid their business decisions
  • Working with IT development team for development and maintenance of Data Lake functionality

Requirements

  • Educated to at least degree level
  • Be capable of presenting findings clearly via reports and presentations to senior colleagues
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of AWS Athena and Quicksight (desirable)
  • Knowledge of appropriate programming languages including SQL
