With four hotels currently in our portfolio, all located in London’s bustling West End, we’re looking for an experienced, vibrant, and energetic Health And Safety Officer to join our team.
Health And Safety Officer duties:
- Promote Risk Management through the Implementation of Criterion Hospitality Management Systems
- Ensuring that Health and Safety information is always available electronically to all teams and available for inspection by local authorities.
- Supporting Heads of Department with the development, implementation, and review of Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work
- Support with Investigations, ensuring adequate information is available, actions identified and Supporting the teams with the management of the Shield Safety Riskproof platform.
- Supporting with property checks though liaising with the Security Manager, Maintenance Manager and Heads of Department, reviewing checks completed and maintaining an action plan.
- Supporting the Security team by ensuring that the maximum benefits are achieved from competency to proactive daily checks, monitoring, and review.
- Support with the Chair of reoccurring Health and Safety Meetings.
- Preparing Health and Safety reports for review at H&S meetings and for review by Senior Stakeholders on a periodic basis
What are we looking for?
Nebosh Certificate or CIEH Level 4- Proven experience of providing health and safety advice and implementing operational policies, procedures, and processes.
- Excellent IT skills with the ability to use specialist software.
- Great organisational skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
- Experience in building good working relationships across a business.
- Able to work 5 out of 7 days a week,
