- Acute in-patient Stroke Unit
- Community Rehabilitation
- Surgical Rehabilitation Team
- Acute in-patient Assessment and Intervention
- Elderly Care in-patient Assessment, Group work, Rehabilitation and Resettlement
- Outpatient Falls Clinic (Bryning Unit)
- Paediatrics based at Hackney Ark
This post will offer you the opportunity to increase your specialist skills, in the assessment and treatment of acute and long term conditions in a variety of settings; in-patient, intermediate care, community and outpatient.
You will be part of well coordinated, specialist multi-professional teams which are at the forefront of the rehabilitation agenda in Hackney. We work closely with nursing and therapy colleagues in multi-disciplinary teams participating in goal setting, rehabilitation, and discharge planning.
We will give you the opportunity and support to broaden your occupational therapy skills and knowledge base, whilst developing your supervision and leadership skills working alongside specialist senior staff.
You will participate in student placement education, teaching programmes for Band 5 occupational therapists and assistant staff, as well as contribute to service development activities, audit and quality improvement work. You will receive regular supervision and support from senior OT clinicians
