A welcoming family in Kensal Green are looking for a kind and energetic nanny to support mum with their new baby and to care for their 3 year old boy after school. When mum returns to work in 2024 the role would evolve into a sole charge position, looking after the baby during the day, while maintaining afternoon care for the eldest. They can be flexible for the right candidate and the nanny would initially be able to choose between a 4 or 5 day work week, however, a 5 day week is required when mum returns to work after maternity leave. The average day will include helping mum throughout the day with baby care and jumping in where needed with household tasks related to the children. No deep cleaning required but the nanny may be expected to help tidy up around the home and assist with laundry and meals when time allows. The nanny will be responsible for some nursery drop-offs and pick-ups for the older child and preparing his meals. He is an energetic little boy so the nanny should be able to keep up and proactively organise playdates, supper, and other activities for him. This role will eventually involve independently caring for an infant, so the nanny should be confident looking after children from 4 months of age. Nonetheless, they are open to varying levels of experience. What's key here is finding somebody proactive who is able to hit the ground running and help where needed.
