Basic Functions
MAPMG is seeking a Project Manager (Quality) to support the development and implementation of changes in care management practices to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the delivery of high quality care with the Mid Atlantic Permanente Medical Group. To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must reside in Washington DC, Maryland, or Virginia or be willing to relocate. This position offer a hybrid work arrangement that is primarily remote with the ability to go into the office twice/week.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clinical, technical, analytical, and operational experts to implement and document population care management programs, risk management, medical legal issues, and peer review programs.
- Integrate data and technical solutions into project development and maximize the use of the Electronic Medical Records for population care management practices and the both internal and publicly reported quality measures.
- Coordinate and manage projects which include preventive care and disease management outreach initiatives to members through letters, secure messaging, phone calls, and through use of the EMR, including secure messaging, order entry (pending) and chart review.
- Practice and promote innovative practices within company ethical and legal guidelines using established policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records, information, and departmental activities involving patient information.
- Through the use of Kaiser Permanente systems, specifically Kaiser Permanente Health Connect (KPHC), researches plans for data gathering and analysis; participates significantly in interpreting analyses and developing action plans accordingly. Data will involve pending orders and sending staff messages within KPHC.
Qualifications
- Masters prepared or completed preferred, Bachelor’s degree required;
- 2 years of clinical and health care quality improvement experience required (or equivalent).
- Excellent computer skills required (Microsoft Office suite)
- A minimum of one year of project support or coordination experience required.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills required.
- Excellent customer service problem solving skills required
