Full Time Remote 15 GBP HOURLY Today
Job description

Key information

City: Manchester

Location: Fully remote, but you will need to attend shoots around the city.

Salary: £15.00 per hour

Hours: 20 hours per month. Hours will change from week-to-week depending on the availability of the venues.

Company overview: Buckt is the UK’s only tickets and activities subscription service. Every month Buckt subscribers receive five mystery tickets to top attractions and activities in their region. This award winning business operates across London, the Midlands and North West England and is the first of its kind in the world.

What you will be doing

We are seeking a part-time videographer/photographer to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating visually stunning content, and have experience in videography, photography and editing.

The videographer will be required to visit the activity providers that we work with across Manchester and take videos and photos which can be used on our social media, on our website, in Youtube videos and more. This could include, for example, going to a rock climbing centre or a football match and getting photos and video. From this, you will need to edit the videos or treat the images in line with our brand guidelines.

You will need to coordinate your visits, which may include communicating with the venues, our subscribers (who would act as ‘models’ during the shoots) and arranging transport as and when required.

This is a part-time position with flexible hours. If you are a creative and passionate videographer/photographer looking to grow your skills and work with a dynamic team, we would love to hear from you!

The role is a fantastic opportunity for someone to:

  • Be part of an innovative business making waves in the industry.
  • Become an integral part of the business.
  • Work with some of the best businesses within the leisure industry.
  • See your work become a key part of our visual identify, marketing and more.
  • Get the opportunity to complete as many Buckt activities as you want.

Key responsibilities

  • Shooting and editing videos and photographs for various projects, including social media content, event coverage, interviews and more.
  • Collaborating with the creative team (including our external marketing agency) to conceptualise and execute visual storytelling.
  • Coordinating visits with both the venues and subscribers.
  • Operating and maintaining camera and lighting equipment.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and techniques.

The Videographer/Photographer should have:

  • 2+ years of experience in videography and photography (ideal but not required).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Lightroom, Photoshop and other relevant softwares.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your videography and photography skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong communication, collaboration and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects at once.
  • Must have own equipment.
  • A driving licence and car.

Education

A level experience is desired; however we are extremely keen to hear from you if you have relevant career experience (see below).

We are looking for candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Videographer
  • Photographer
  • Video editor
  • Video producer
  • Content creator
  • Cinematographer

If you do not have experience in one of these areas, but feel that you meet the requirements of the role in other ways, we are still keen to hear from you.
