Within the BPM area, you will be expose to continuous challenges on how to build the best solutions, connecting multiple systems on a company as big as Santander and ensuring we provide resilient and top-level applications and processes for our customers and colleagues. Our teams uses a variety of technologies being Appian one of the chosen tools when comes to Case Management and BPM and a layer of JAVA/Springboot micro services to ensure connectivity between all bank areas.
The difference you’ll make:
Collaborating across technical and business teams, you will deliver services aligned to the Bank’s business and technical strategies.
Expanding Appian native functionality by designing and developing ad-hoc plugins.
Implementing PoC and technical pilots to understand and scope feasibility of technical requirements.
Assisting in application deployment and roll-out to production.
Participating in Appian's Community of Practice across the organisation.
Focussing on Processes/Operations skills using Appian Framework to deliver projects in a CI/CD environment.
What you’ll bring:
Good knowledge and strong experience on Appian solutions and models.
Good development skills on JAVA/Springboot
Extensive knowledge of working with distributed infrastructure systems and client-server architectures
Good experience with relational databases and SQL scripting.
Expertise with API integration.
It would also be nice for you to have:
Experience with Agile Framework.
Experience in ALM tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, Sonar, Docker
Good problem solving, analytical and technical troubleshooting skills
Pipeline support using technologies such as AWS, Jenkins, Openshift, Linux, Github, Harbour & Snow Level – Managing CI and Cloud Tech
What else you need to know:
Site based role with hybrid working pattern.
The role is working 2 days a week ideally from our head office in Milton Keynes while the rest of the week can be worked remotely.
This is a full time permanent position working Monday to Friday 35 hours a week
