Job Title: Healthcare Assistant
Our Aim at InnovCare is to provide innovative personal care to individuals who, by reason of old age, illness, or disability are unable to provide it for themselves, in the comfort of their own homes. Such activities involve washing, bathing, moving, or cleaning, getting dressed, or going to the toilet.
The services provided are for the elderly who need Learning disability Care, Respite Care, Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care, end-of-life, Palliative Care, Neurological and Brain Injury Care, Physical disability care, Spinal injury care, Night Care, Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) care, Reablement care, Companionship care, Stroke Care and Live-in-Care.
All services are provided in the comfort of the service users’ homes within the Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, and Driffield area. We have a mandate called: the SCREWED Mandate and all our employees live by it. Our service must be safe, caring, responsive, effective and well-led at all times.

Duties: With empowering, team spirit, honesty, innovation, integrity, kindness, and safety, you will be:
- Assisting healthcare professionals in providing key support and care
- Monitoring and recording vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assisting with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assisting with mobility and transferring patients
- Administering medications under the supervision of a nurse or physician or senior team member
- Assisting with medical procedures, reordering and treatments
- Maintaining a clean and organized patient environment
- Providing emotional support to our service users and their families
- Documenting patient information accurately and timely
Requirements:
- High level of Enthusiasm, team spirit, honesty, innovation, integrity, kindness, and safety consciousness are a MUST and you will be tested and interviewed on this.
- High school diploma or equivalent ( for foreign workers, you must have at least 5 point overall in your test of English or have worked in the UK care sector for more than a year with considerable IELTS scores or Evaluated foreign B.Sc. degree
- Completion of care certificates and Level 2 NVQ preferred (N-A-M)
- Excellent communication, passion, enthusiasm, lovability and interpersonal skills is a must
- Ability to work well in a team environment and innovatively
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients, and desire for responsiveness
- Ability to handle stressful situations with patience and professionalism
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills -Can drive and with full UK Driving Licence/International Drivers License, with own insured car preferred (not a must-N-A-M)
Note: Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but N-A-M. Training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate the necessary skills and qualities. Most preferred candidates may be given senior roles
