Job description
We are looking for enthusiastic, committed, compassionate, and ambitious individuals to join our team and grow with our thriving business. We need Full Time & Part Time employees to join the team working in our poultry abattoir & chicken packing room.
All shifts are day shift with hours varying between 6:00 & 17:30.
Due to the location of our farm and production facility it is essential that the candidate can drive and has access to a vehicle to get them to work.
The Full Time position is available on an any 5 from 7 shift pattern, up to 45 hours per week.
The Part Time position is either a 3 day week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday), up to 30 Hours or a 2 day week (Tuesday & Wednesday), up to 20 hours per week.
We farm our Chickens from day-old to 12 weeks, producing 2,000 birds a week to sell at Farmer’s Markets, wholesalers and directly to retail customers online. We process and butcher in-house and create our own products from pies, sausage rolls, pate, and broths. We also produce seasonal poultry, lamb, and hogget.
We are now at an exciting period of growth and are expanding our team to meet the high demands for our award-winning produce.
Key responsibilities:
· Working in our abattoir on preparing oven ready chickens
· Packing of fresh chicken & chicken portions, packing red meat cuts. Potential to assist with butchery of Chickens
· Assisting in production of pie and pate making, broth pouring, web orders, pricing
· Product packing and labelling, ensuring quality of the product is upheld
· Packing Website orders ready for courier delivery. Packing Wholesale and Market Orders ready for in-house delivery
· Potential to work on one of our Farmers Markets
· Cleaning

· Positive, proactive and professional approach with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
· Enthusiastic, ambitious and hands on.
· Detail orientated with an eye for presentation.
· Ability to increase work rate when needed.
· Ideally hold a Drivers Licence and has access to a vehicle to get to work.
