Dough ninja / pizza perfectionist wanted. Looking for a new captain of our ship. Killer opportunity for the right person, competitive salary, creative freedom, 4 day weeks, great tips, lovely bunch.
Our focus is pizza, slow fermented (72 hours +) sourdough base, but we also make a range of gelato and complimentary sides. We have an open kitchen for customers to watch pizzas being made.
We are always striving to improve what we do, how we do it and ultimately what we offer, providing a consistently high standard of food. Mastering our core service will be a primary focus during the initial period but there is huge scope for creative freedom and bringing your passions to Bertha’s be that fermentation, foraging, funky flour, fried chicken or flower arranging.

Shifts: 40-45 hour, evenings and weekends.
We will agree a guaranteed minimum number of hours with you depending on what both you and Bertha’s require. You must be available to work regularly over weekends and evenings. Hours would typically be spread over 4 (occasionally 5) days providing plenty of free time.
Shifts vary with daytime hours focusing on preparing dough and ingredients ready for the evening and weekend services where you’ll be stretching dough or cooking in our beautiful Stefano Ferrara oven.

Pay: competitive hourly rate plus generous trunc
