Position Summary
Goal
Develop and execute WILA's strategy into an effective and transparent global communications policy. Support internal and external customers to create brand awareness, and drive new business revenue. Adhere to WILA guidelines and processes, with the ultimate goal of a highly satisfied customer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Marketing Communication Strategy:
- Create a comprehensive marketing communication strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives
- Define target audiences, key messages, and communication channels to effectively reach and engage customers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure consistency and alignment of messaging across all communication channels
- Branding and Positioning:
- Oversee the development and management of the company's brand identity and positioning
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing communication materials, including advertising campaigns, digital content, collateral, and presentations
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines and standards to guide internal and external stakeholders in maintaining brand integrity
- Content Strategy and Creation:
- Lead the development of compelling and engaging content for various marketing channels, including websites, social media, blogs, newsletters, and press releases
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather content and insights to support marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovative content creation.
- Use 3rd party sources to bridge lack of internal expertise with use of one time digital contract
- Marketing Collateral and Materials:
- Manage the creation and production of marketing collateral, including brochures, sales presentations, product sheets, and promotional materials
- Ensure the accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of marketing materials
- Collaborate with design and production teams to maintain a consistent and visually appealing brand image
- Digital Marketing:
- Oversee the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies, including website content, email marketing, social media, and online advertising campaigns
- Analyze digital marketing performance metrics and optimize campaigns to drive engagement and conversions
- Stay updated with digital marketing trends and emerging technologies to ensure the company remains at the forefront of digital communication
- Public Relations and Media Relations:
- Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets, industry influencers, and key stakeholders
- Create and implement public relations strategies and campaigns to enhance brand visibility and manage the company's reputation
- Act as the primary spokesperson and media contact, managing media inquiries and coordinating interviews
- Event Management:
- Plan and execute company events, trade shows, conferences, and sponsorships to maximize brand exposure and generate leads
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful event execution and brand representation
- Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead and develop a high-performing marketing communications team
- Set clear goals, provide guidance, and evaluate performance to foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities to team members
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, safety awareness, and adherence to company policies
- Strong knowledge of marketing principles, brand management, and integrated marketing communications
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing successful marketing communication strategies
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content for various channels
- Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, social media management, and content management systems
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team

- Proven experience (8+ years) in marketing communications, with a focus on strategic planning and execution required
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field required. MBA or master's degree desired
