About the Role

ME+EM is looking for an eCommerce Executive to join our Marketing team. The successfulcandidate will report into our Head of Digital Commerce and Customer Experience and workclosely with the whole Marketing team.This role is responsible for the daily management of UK and US sites for ME+EM includingcontent management, visual merchandising, and trading of the site. This is an excitingopportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, so we are looking for a creative, organisedself-starter with a keen eye for detail.

Website

  • Managing the product launch process end-to-end. This involves co-ordinating theinformation required from multiple teams within the business to ultimately ensure thatall products are launched on time.
  • Managing timely product enrichment data for both UK and US sites, ensuring allelements are present and correct for product launch.
  • Working closely with the Online Merchandiser to ensure that monthly product dropsare executed successfully and the end-to-end customer journey is considered.
  • Updates to on-site content product imagery, banners, homepage, blog content toensure it is always consistent and up to date.
  • Executing daily visual merchandising of the websites with the guidance of the OnlineMerchandiser, considering brand values as well as commercial elements (stock andsales).
  • Working with Online Merchandiser to build campaign landing pages that enhance thecustomer experience and deliver commercially.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Buying, Design and Merchandising teams toensure the product launch process is successful and site trade is optimised.
  • Execution of all website SEO, including updating metadata, optimising site copy andany other SEO tasks that will help to elevate the brand's online presence.
  • Working with the Online Merchandiser to execute cross-selling opportunities acrossthe sites - ensuring that these are in line with the latest collection and drivingcommercial value.
  • Coordination of translation workflow, liaising with internal teams and externaltranslation agency.
  • Conduct regular audits of product, content, customer care and shipping pages toensure there are no discrepancies and there is consistent messaging across the site.

Third Party

  • Working closely with Merchandising to supply monthly product data to Selfridges andHarrods to ensure products are launched on third-party websites.
  • Weekly site walks of third-party websites to check product launch status, imagery andsort order of ME+EM category page.
  • Main point of contact for third-party digital teams ensuring any trading or commercialdecisions are communication to the ME+EM team and vice versa

The successful candidate

  • Interest in the fashion and retail industry and passionate about the ME+EM brand.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in an eCommerce environment.
  • Creative with an excellent eye for detail
  • Well organised with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • Customer focused and commercially aware.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a large team.
  • Experience working with Magento and Wordpress preferable.
  • Experience of Google Analytics and Data Studio is beneficial.
