The Surveillance Shop is expanding and looking for a Business Development Manager / outside sales professional that will be responsible for developing and managing new accounts.
This position comes with a strong opportunity for advancement. We also encourage people to apply with no industry experience.
Responsibilities:
· Selling integrated security solutions to industrial and commercial businesses
· Developing a pipeline of business by prospecting, cold-calling, tradeshows, and networking
· Archiving and maintaining a sales quota
· Nurturing, managing, and growing accounts
· Develop security proposals (including drawings)
· Responding to ‘hot leads’ within a timely fashion
Skillset of the ideal candidate:
· Strong sales acumen
· Technical experience / acumen
· B2B sales experience with oil and gas an asset
· Be enthusiastic, outgoing, upbeat, and driven to succeed
· Accommodating and willing to go the extra mile
· Strong computer skills and basic computer network knowledge
· Ability to build and develop professional relationships with customers
· Excellent verbal and communication skills
