Excellent opportunity to play a key role on the Sales Team with multiple premier MRO facilities that support current and new generation products. Reporting to the VP of Sales, MRO Services, the Sales Director will be responsible for growing sales for the GA Telesis MRO Services Group by targeting new customers and current customers consistent with business and strategic plans. Ideal candidates will have strong contacts with airline customers, as well as knowledge of and experience with selling Component and Composite MRO, and thrive in a fast-paced and team-oriented company culture.
Responsibilities:
- Generate component and composite-related sales and identify sales leads consistent with business and strategic plans (including new customers, new markets, new products, etc.)
- Cultivate and maintain effective customer relationships
- Keep customers informed of internal developments (technology, organization, capabilities, etc.). Introduce new products and services to existing and potential new customers
- Keep management abreast of developments/trends in the field including technology, customer, competitor, etc.
- Provide systematic feedback (bi-weekly sales activity reports, pre & post trip reports, quarterly sales presentations) to appropriate colleagues and management
- Provide continuity as a liaison between potential customers and internal team members from initial contact through contract award and beyond
- Request support for key customers and sales opportunities as required
- Assist in the development of new business as required including inputs into the strategic business planning process
- Help coordinate/support trade shows for participation
- Develop customer strategic plans
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- BA/BS in Business
- Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience (component sales) required
- Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong technical background with component and composite products
- Able to travel domestically, internationally, and on weekends if required (50%)
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to learn new products quickly
- Advanced expertise with Microsoft Office Software, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- MS Internet Explorer
- Experience with or ability to learn Quantum Control EPR system
